
Scholarships

In order to encourage excellency, each year, Highland Academy of Canada awards scholarships to two international students and two Canadian local students who succeed in both academics, as well as leadership and social service.
Reviewing Process for Scholarship Application
Students' integrity, honesty, curiosity, readiness to contribute, inventive spirit, wide academic and extracurricular interests, steadfast heart, excellent leadership, active community involvement, and other traits are all assessed in the scholarship application review.
Requirements for International Entrance Scholarship Applicant
The applicant is a resident of a country other than Canada and needs to hold or is applying for a Canadian student visa.
At the time of application, the average grade of completed subjects is above 88% and the student has applied to become a full-time high school student of Highland Academy of Canada.
Applicant is willing to participate in school interview or video interview
Amount and Distribution of Scholarships
Winners of the scholarship will receive a one-time admission scholarship worth 10,000 Canadian dollars. In addition, Highland Academy of Canada will award five outstanding candidates with scholarships worth $5,000 to encourage admission.
The scholarship will be paid in one lump sum to the student's account at Highland Academy of Canada. The scholarship is used to pay for the student's tuition and other relevant expenditures, such as book fees and accommodation.

At the end of the year, the school also awards scholarships for "Student of the Year" and "Graduate of the Year". These two recipients will be awarded scholarships ranging from $300 to $2,000 Canadian dollars from the school. There will be one recipient for each of the "Student of the Year" and "Graduate of the Year" scholarships. The "Student of the Year" scholarship will be deposited into the recipient's Highland Academy of Canada student account and used to pay for tuition and other associated expenditures (such as book fees and lodging fees). The "Graduate of the Year" grant will be awarded in cheque or in kind to the student.
Selection Criteria for the Graduate of the Year
Scholarship
- Student is one of the graduates of the year
- Obtained an unconditional admission from the world's top 50 universities
- Recommended by at least three subject teachers and the school scholarship committee
Selection Criteria for the " Student of the Year" Scholarship
- Student achieved 90% or above in all courses and is not a graduate of that year
- Recommended by at least three subject teachers and the school scholarship committee
