Repeat/Upgrade Courses

Students who have already passed satisfactorily but want to raise their marks can apply for repeat (or upgrade) courses. Students receive the same Ontario (OSSD) credits they first earned for these courses, which have content that is comparable to the course they previously took. Repeat courses include fewer or shorter assessments than regular courses, which may enable students to move through the course more quickly.

The student must have passed the same OSSD course with a final grade of at least 50% in order to be qualified for a repeat. A copy of the final report card, transcript, or credit counselling summary sheet must be sent to HAC by the student registering for a repeat course as evidence that they successfully completed the course.

What We Offer

The best quality of education.

How Does it Work?

We offer high-quality Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) credit courses. HAC offers over X courses for students in grade 9-12, all of which count toward the OSSD in the same way that courses in traditional brick-and-mortar school do.
